The Adelaide Parklands (A social history) by Patricia Summerling
Book Launch

Last Friday the 6th of May 2011, I was invited to a book launch at the Adelaide Bowls Club to the public release of a book with two of my photos in it. It was a thrill to see the images in a book and I am still excited about it. The Adelaide Parklands (a social history) by Patricia Summerling. The book is beautiful and the contents pages feature my image of a close up of a duck on the lake in the parklands and also a rosella in amoungst the flowers near the Alice in Wonderland statue (East Parklands).

Launched by Keith Conlon (Postcards TV show) and the Lord Mayor of Adelaide (Stephen Yarwood)

and published by Wakefield Press it is a great book filled with stories of our magnificent parklands which circle the city are are in fact larger than the city itself.  An asset to be protected at all costs for everyone present and future.  I wish Patricia all the very best with a beautiful book.
